Vascular Surgery OS is a trainee-led educational platform built to make vascular surgery easier to understand, apply and retain. Developed from the perspective of contemporary vascular surgical training in the UK, it organises knowledge around the decisions trainees make in clinic, on call and in theatre — rather than around traditional textbook chapters. The aim is to turn complex vascular knowledge into a clear system for clinical reasoning, operative preparation and long-term learning.
Domain first. Clinical Topics explain when and why; Procedures explain how. Evidence links back into every decision. Learn messily — distil systematically.
Clinical content is prepared for review against the cited sources. Before publication, the clinical editor checks the references, recommendations and numerical claims. Drafts are not reviewed guidance. Published clinical pages should identify their author and last clinical review date; differences between guidelines and areas of uncertainty are stated explicitly.
